Mystery, Magic, and Mayhem

 As Oregon prepares for what is being called "The Great American Eclipse" my energies are on full alert and I am preparing for just about anything that might happen. This includes politically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

All of the mystery, magic and mayhem are all part of one another and with and through these intense world changes we are all experiencing right now..comes incredible opportunities for elimination of the old and rebirth into the new.  The rebirth is into the you that you truly are deep inside.

It is time for all of us to understand why we have the patterns and patterning that we have, why we have made all of the choices that changed our lives, putting all of us and our planet at risk for annihilation, and why we now all get to choose again as we go into the dark of the physical, emotional and perhaps even spiritual eclipse as we expose our deepest and innermost selves to the light... and if you are willing and brave and have pure intent and purpose, come out into the bright light of a new transformed day once again.

August is an incredible turning point month that is going to bring rapid growth and change.  Time is going to feel like its moving faster and we are all really going to be guided to leave the past in the past.

August is also a month of the rising up of energies into new awakenings, so it is likely that we are all going to be able to advance our consciousness, or our spiritual understandings of why our world is in this incredibly painful time and what we must do beginning with each of us, to move forward from this point.  Often when understandings or awakenings or ascension first happen we feel a lack of balance, of highs and lows that we don't understand and find challenging.

All of this energy can lead to feelings of exhaustion or energy levels that feel all over the place. It can also lead to a desire to make sudden or long needed changes in life. But it is a gift of transition, one that will continue for the next ten years or more and one that will challenge us to be our very best selves.

Solar Eclipses are like amplified New Moons and often bring about transformation, new beginnings and changes. Their potency can sometimes be intimidating, but it is important to remember that they always put us on the right path.

We have five planets in retrograde..an unbelievable occurrence.

The planets in retrograde include everyone’s favorite, Mercury, as well as Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This combination of retrograde energy is definitely going to slow things down, so patience is definitely key over the coming weeks.

When the outer planets go retrograde like Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, their effects are not felt as strongly. This is because these planets move pretty slowly and they exert their influence gradually on a deeper, more subconscious level. When inner planets like Mercury and Saturn go retrograde however, we feel them a lot more as they move at a much quicker pace and tend to exert their influences on a more conscious level.

Vibrational Shift:

In our everyday lives, too, we experience dramatic shifts in our energy, sometimes feeling inexplicably joyful and the next moment feeling depressed and low. When our vibration is low, life may seem like a struggle. We may experience poor health, relationship problems and financial difficulties. We may also often feel depressed, anxious or angry. Sometimes these energetic variations seem beyond our control. It feels like our low mood is caused by outside circumstances.

However, as we begin to understand these patterns, we realize that we can control our own energy vibrations. When this happens, we may begin to experience a vibrational shift and eventually find ourselves in a state of high vibration.

And one of my favorite ancient images that has great symbolic and energetic meaning. The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. The name originates from within Greek language; (oura) meaning "tail" and (boros) meaning "eating", thus "he who eats the tail".

The Ouroboros represents the perpetual cyclic renewal of life and infinity, the concept of eternity and the eternal return, and represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth, leading to immortality.

It can also represent the idea of primordial unity related to something existing in or persisting before any beginning with such force or qualities it cannot be extinguished. The ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism, but has also been frequently used in alchemical illustrations, where it symbolizes the circular nature of the alchemist's opus.
