I've had far too many 'irons in the fire' and completely forgot to post my third in this series on the 2013 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show! After my in-depth analysis of the fabulous modern, improvisational and ab-strakt-ed quilts, and my featured quilter and the wonderful Wendy's Wish project..my mind was off and dreaming of so many things to do, to create, and to get done!
So now, just a quick photo pictorial of all of the wonderful quilts in the "Teacher's Tent"...a wonderful area where all of the fabulous quilt teachers of the preceding classes in the 2013 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show: Quilters Affair (part of the Sisters quilting activities and classes extravaganza that precede the show) come in and create wonderful showcase quilts that are based on their class that week.
Check them out and see if you can guess who the teacher/quilter might be who made them.
Hint to get you going...the iron , at the top, was fused on by a famous quilter who sings as she irons and fuses her fun and colorful quilts.
Tired, but happy...Doni, Michele, and Cher.....fortunate to all now live in Oregon, where we can hop in our cars and head over to see this fabulous quilt show...year after wonderful year!

Michele, thanks very much for another lovely "quilt show" on your blog. You are a good photographer! It's interesting to see so many quilts which are liberated or innovative or free style, whichever word each quilter prefers. I'm excited by the modern feel of the quilts, but I'm also drawn to the muted traditional Ohio Star quilt. You are a wonderful teacher and friend to everyone who reads your blog. Thanks, again.

YIKES!! What happened to the traditional quilts?? Do you think they are a thing of the past?
:) I will never get over my love for traditional quilts, but I do love seeing all of the creative ways a quilter can approach her subject!
Aha, on the right year this time! Looks like a lot more solid fabrics this year, yet the quilts are beautiful as ever. Thanks for taking me on this journey as well.
