I've been thinking a lot lately, about family, friendships, and all of the" ties that bind" us together in our relationships. They can be simple, or they can be intense and complex. Part of that process is maintaining this blog through so many of my own life and blogging challenges and of course, I write about those regularly!
But part of it is also really digging deep into the very meaning of what serves us best in the world, what gives our lives hope, and meaning, and purpose. And for me, our families, our friendships, and even our own personal faith and beliefs about our own roles in the world, are all huge parts of that equation.
As quilters, many of us also love to read.... and so like a lot of you I always have a book in the process of being read, and sometimes a wonderful big stack of them!
Recently, I was asked by Michele Foster of the Quilting Gallery to be part of a "10 blogs" book tour for author, Marie Bostwick's latest novel (her 4th in her Cobbled Court series) Ties that Bind.
Each of the ten of us will then have a drawing for a free book and we shall each give a book away. All you have to do to have a chance of winning is to leave a comment after a blog hop post by any of us on the tour, at our own blog, on our own published Blog Hop Tour give away day!
