My name is Michele Bilyeu of With Heart and Hands, and I am the moderator for Our Liberated Challenge is free-wheeling it's way across the pages of the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative filled with life, love, memories, mindfulness, and a lot of free-piecing.
And as the moderator of the combined blogging world of Liberated Quilting and the Liberated Quilters Message Board, I finally have two hands to post and show off the amazing quilts that are part of our Liberated Challenge and available for purchase online .
These are the quilts (from our Liberated Challenge group) that are now up for either auction or immediate sale at the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative website with all monies going into funding for Alzheimer's research.
Please click on individual quilt names to be brought directly to AAQI to view the details of each piece. If they are up for sale...buy one now. If they are up for auction, that will begin April 1, 2010.

Thank you, Michele. My three donations are in good company with a lot of creative small quilts. Kudos to all who have donated and all who donate monies in order to have these bits of creativeness be theirs.
Thanks Michele for taking the time to organise this. I couldn't have done it without you.

Michele so happy for you that you now have both of your hands in working order ;-) Thank you for all your hard work in organizing this challenge and for posting about our quilts up for auction and sale. I am thrilled and honored that my three mini quilts are showcased alongside these creative pieces of art!! I even recognize the name of an artist whose quilt I have purchased from AAQI in the past. So cool! I hope you don't mind if I link from my blog to this post in the next day or two. Take care!
Michele, thanks for posting these quilts all together so that we can view them this way. What a wonderful collection of talent.
Thanks again,

Glad for your recovery, Michele!! Thank you for showing these...I am working on a quiltlet for Alzheimer's, too.
Oooh, two hands! These quilts are all so wonderful. You managed to organize a great event, even with one hand tied behind your back.
They're all so beautiful and clever, such amazing work and big hearts on behalf of each and every contributor.
