Ugh, what a nasty aftermath of the fall on ice. I found your blog around three corners, thanks for posting the story about the sac lunches, I had never heard it before.
I also just shared the church bloopers, they were hillarious!
Hope your bones will heal cause quilting will be a whole lot easier with two hands! I know there are people who paint with their feet or mouth, but I'm not sure that would work for quilting...
Get well!
Cheers,
Christine
Blessings and warmth being sent your way for fast recovery and healing
Oh, Michele! You DO have an electric personality! Mend well.
Ugh, just read about your surgery..poor baby, I hope you're on the mend quickly..you have an unbelievable outlook, that is very inspiring!!! ~Karen
LOL. Glad to know you are ok. I hope you have a speedy recovery!

HI Michele,
I can see that your sense of fun hasn't deserted you during this arm adventure.
I love the name of your quilt- I have been screwed - You would have to make sure to use purple and green in it! LOL
They say Laughter is the best medicine- the Church bulletin comments were pretty funny.
Hope that someone will bring you other things that make you laugh-
perhaps some screwball comedies :O)
Feel better dear friend
Hope that you are not too uncomfortable.
Warmest regards,
Anna
I love your sense of humor, you remind me, to remind myself, to keep mine;) I am glad the surgery went well and hopefully the healing goes well. I needed a laugh. Have been watching the news and hoping to hear of more rescues from the debris. Our governor said on the news, if everyone in RI gave a dollar, that is a million dollars, so you can imagine if the bigger states did that too.
Debbie
Heal well and thanks for sharing...those church sayings induced plenty of laughter...!
Blessings,
Karen
My husband has 14 screws and 2 titanium plates holding his tibial plateau and knee together after a woman pulled out in front of his motorcycle.
We were so lucky that the surgeon went to such lengths to save his leg!
Amazing what a good doctor can do to heal you! Get well soon!
If you managed to blow out a power grid in Juneau, we best not let you have major surgery in someplace like DC--they'll think you're a terrorist!
Oh I hope you are well soon and can get back to quilting. Hugs
I knew you were "fully charged" but to take out the whole city of Juneau to prove it was a bit much. ;- )
Glad there was a surgeon on staff who could give you such good treatment. What a mess that fall made of your arm! Ick! You're in my prayers. And now I think I'll steal those church bulletins to pass along to my SIL. I hadn't seen that batch; they're a hoot!
Yes, if we don't laugh, we'll cry and laughter helps us heal a WHOLE lot faster.
Glad your surgeon was skilled ... now comes the healing and recovery ... YES!
HUGS from TN
So glad your surgery went well. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
Ouch! That has to hurt! Hope you have a very successful recovery ~ gosh but that wrist looked painful! Good thing you only need one hand to post, huh?
